About Our Director
Angela Rasmussen

With a BA in vocal performance from Pepperdine University and an MM from the University of Southern California, Angela Rasmussen has performed numerous leading and secondary roles in opera and musical theater both in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Rasmussen is an avid recitalist in the Southern California area, and can also be heard in various film projects. When not on stage, Ms. Rasmussen can be found sharing her love of singing through teaching at California Lutheran University and formerly at her alma mater, Pepperdine University. While on faculty at Pepperdine, she was the assistant director for the Heidelberg Music Program's Opera Scenes. Ms. Rasmussen is the founding director of the CLU Opera Scenes Program and is the vocal music director for the musical theater program. She is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda and Golden Key Honors societies.
